I had the pleasure of joining Nathan Wrigley on episode #302 of the WP Builds podcast. We discussed a couple of important topics of note among WordPress developers.
The first is the idea of “Canonical” plugins. That is, plugins developed and maintained by WordPress core that allow users to opt-in. We also tackled the issue of whether WordPress should convert uploaded images to Google’s WebP format by default.
